“Yesterday a Wanasek crew was doing some work at Wilmot HS that exposed some wires. Your crew did not do any damage but recognized that there might be a potential problem with one of the cables. I want to thank your crew for notifying WE Energies of the potential problem. It was their immediate notification that allowed us to inspect the wires and see a defect in one of the splices. WE Energies was able to avoid an unplanned outage by doing repairs to the cables this morning before the school opened.
